Oh hey did you know I suck at updating/WATER DECALS

I suck at updating.

For realsies. I've started a polish blog like two times, I've started other blogs about other subjects and failed hideously both times. I blame laziness, which is ridiculous, because I waste all day on the internet anyway, I could at least do something productive.

Water decals! The album art for Infected Mushroom's eight albums, including their logos
Water decals are a really great way to do super-detailed nails without the intense struggles of micro-painting. There's two different kinds of decal paper--clear and white, and you can run them through your at-home inkjet printer to print just about anything you want on your nails. I used the clear here, because I figured full-nail coverage, it wouldn't matter. Okay no, the albums did not cover my entire nail, so I failed hard. I don't even give a damn, the band loved them.
My second reasoning was that if I decided to do smaller, non-full-nail images, clear backing would give me more options, and it does, to a point.

Wow! This doesn't look shitty at all!
Once you've done decals a couple of times and know what the hell you're doing, it's a lot easier. But if you are going to do something that -actually- covers the full nail, I recommend stopping short of the actual edge of your nail, as tightly as you can, and using a top coat to help seal and wrap. Once the sucker dries, it is very difficult to remove those decals, so make sure you love the design and the placement!

The completed look!
