I suck at updating.
For realsies. I've started a polish blog like two times, I've started other blogs about other subjects and failed hideously both times. I blame laziness, which is ridiculous, because I waste all day on the internet anyway, I could at least do something productive.

| Water decals! The album art for Infected Mushroom's eight albums, including their logos |
Water decals are a really great way to do super-detailed nails without the intense struggles of micro-painting. There's two different kinds of decal paper--clear and white, and you can run them through your at-home inkjet printer to print just about anything you want on your nails. I used the clear here, because I figured full-nail coverage, it wouldn't matter. Okay no, the albums did not cover my entire nail, so I failed hard. I don't even give a damn, the band loved them.
My second reasoning was that if I decided to do smaller, non-full-nail images, clear backing would give me more options, and it does, to a point.

| Wow! This doesn't look shitty at all! |
Once you've done decals a couple of times and know what the hell you're doing, it's a lot easier. But if you are going to do something that -actually- covers the full nail, I recommend stopping short of the actual edge of your nail, as tightly as you can, and using a top coat to help seal and wrap. Once the sucker dries, it is
very difficult to remove those decals, so make sure you love the design and the placement!
