Deal or no deal

So we had some time to kill before we went to see Captain America: Winter Is Coming, and we wandered into Sam's Club.

Good news!

Apparently they are currently selling three-packs of Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure for $9.98!

They have two options; the "nude" option above, or a lilac, pink, and paler pink option. I already have a lot of pink and lilac so I decided to go with this nude to mix it up, even though I've ranted at length about how useless nudes seem. Dat grey tho. It'll be amazing under OPI "Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous", among others. It's not a bad deal, considering these run about $6 each.

OR IS IT?

For some reason these are really hard to open compared to whole-price CSM. I tried to open them last night and had a difficult time; I assumed my hands were still half-butter from the delicious movie popcorn. But no, they are a bitch to open at first. I had to use a rubber band to really crank Greige open, but it's gotten better after loosening it up a few times.

Otherwise, I was surprised to see that "Almost Almond" has a delicate shimmer to it. "Sheer Ecstasy" is maybe too close to "Shell We Dance" so maybe I'll try to swap it out or something. The nice thing about those two shades is that they can be used to soften and brighten up the natural nail a little.
