The latest haul, and comparing OPI Over and Over A-Gwen

I picked up a bit of polish this week! If you still have an open KMart, GET THAT SHIT. Also, pop over to your Ulta because their Gwen polishes are finally half-off there, as well! So happy.

Of course I was going to pick up her limited edition red. Also, A Woman's Prague-ative, 4 in the Morning, and Essie "Leading Lady", which was at a sketchy Rite Aid. Work... perks...? With coupons and Ulta points, it was $12.

SERIOUSLY. GET YOUR ASS TO KMART. "Smoldering", "Bold Gold", "Tantalizing", "Red Tote", "Wine and Dined", "Heavenly", "Beguile", "Ocean", "Burgundy", "Styled Out", "Blue Blowout", "Rain Check", and Wet N Wild's matte coat, which supposedly is one of the best top coats out there. Spent about $20 overall.

So anyway, polish. I decided to swatch "Over and Over A-Gwen" to see how it stood up to my other reds.
Dat red.

The line-up. Wet N Wild "I Red a Good Book", Sally Hansen "Right Said Red", and Maybelline "Paint the Town".

One coat; the coverage on Gwen's is fantastic. Maybelline is the second, then Sally Hansen, then Wet N Wild. You can tell right away the Maybelline is significantly darker, and the thinner polishes run rather pink. But that could be because of the thin application.

Second coat. Perfect coverage with Gwen, then Maybelline, to my surprise, then Sally Hansen, then Wet N Wild.

A little closer of a shot. This actually makes a nice ombre! Gwen's definitely stands out here. The Sally Hansen and the Wet N Wild lean more orange, for sure.
So anyway. I also wore A Woman's Prague-ative for a day, and it is awesome.
Of course, this also took about four coats because it's so sheer.
Interestingly, it appears far more coppery on the nail than it does in the bottle.

But it's still very fiery. I don't like crackle coats but I would totally slap down some matte black crackle polish over this bitch in a second.

And for funsies, A Woman's Prague-ative over the swatches.
