Here's just some random swatches from other polishes I'd picked up recently. Mostly, Essie's Mirror Metallics line, and a L'Oreal that I was hoping was just one of their older polishes repackaged.
So the truth is, that third bottle is "Buy Me A Cameo", which isn't actually a metallic. I guess the kids would call it a "frost"? It has a nice pearly shimmer when dry, and lays on almost like a soft, pinky nude. It's nice.

My favorite L'Oreal, "Owl's Lust"... (sigh). VS "Red Tote". They look damn similar in the bottle! I really couldn't tell a difference.

Seriously, we've come this far in camera technology where you can have them in your damn phones and they still can't represent color 100% accurately?!

It's still a gorgeous red, of course, but it's not the dead-on dupe I was hoping for. I really like "Owl's Lust" EXCEPT FOR THAT FUCKING NAME.
