Sorry I haven't posted in a while; life has been kicking my ass all over the place the past couple weeks.

So! While I was at the Meijer in Saginaw for work, I happened to spy the Sally Hansen "Liquid Mani-A" Color Foil Polish display, and since I had lamented earlier to myself how I wish there were more chrome polishes in more colors than typical metal colors, it seemed as if Sally had heard me and responded in kind.

Here's just some random swatches from other polishes I'd picked up recently. Mostly, Essie's Mirror Metallics line, and a L'Oreal that I was hoping was just one of their older polishes repackaged.

Ring, China Glaze "Fairy Dust". Middle, SH Diamond Strength "Diamonds". Index, NYC's new "Shimmer Blast".

I like the NYC for its subtlety. Diamonds is lovely, but sadly I feel like it's too close to "Glass Slipper", though "Glass Slipper" makes me think of dino eggs, in a positive way. And "Fairy Dust"... worth it. Adds pop to EVERYTHING. My ring finger is like a Barbie in the 90s. 

Okay all my nails are a 90s Barbie right now.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in "Jungle Gem". It's one of the clearanced items at Target, so I'd run and pick it up! It's similar enough to Revlon's "Fashionista" that you probably technically don't need it, but it was cheap so...

Shopping charm

Besides my nails, I'm a rather sloppy person. I prefer jeans, shirts, and tennis shoes to being trendy, mostly because I'm lazy and getting into that weird age where my only options are whatever early 20-somethings are wearing (skinny jeans and oversized off-the-shoulder sweatshirts, right?), and shapeless sweater/tank top combos in colors like "bahama peach" and "fuck it fuchsia".

But, I have what I like to consider a good luck shopping charm.
